Tips to reduce blood pressure

Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of arteries. Blood pressure rises and falls throughout the day. When blood pressure stays elevated over time, it’s called high blood pressure. The medical term for high blood pressure is hypertension. High blood pressure is dangerous because it makes the heart work too hard and contributes to atherosclerosis.
  1. Salt shoots your BP so reduce your salt intake and you’ll see a clear difference in your BP levels. It has been observed that most of the salt comes from processed food we eat, so avoid these items and eat as much fresh as you can. Cook for yourself and if you plan to eat out inform the waiter at the restaurant to use less salt.
  2. Aim for a healthy weight. If you are overweight or obese, carrying this extra weight increases your risk of high blood pressure.
  3. Increase your physical activity. Do at least 30 minutes of moderate activity, such as walking, most days of the week. You can do 30 minutes in three 10-minute segments.
  4. Too much of sodium is unhealthy for your body, especially if you have high blood pressure. Simple changes to your food routine are enough to bring down the sodium intake. Increasing your potassium intake will help to suppress the effects of sodium on blood pressure.
  5. Even one or two cups of fresh ground coffee can raise blood pressure into the unhealthy Stage 1 level. If a person already has Stage 1 Hypertension, coffee usually complicates the problem even further. Caffeine is a stimulant. This causes the heart to beat faster. When the heart beats faster, the blood pressure raises. If you are a person who drinks a lot of caffeine, you may need to taper yourself off of the caffeine to prevent withdrawal symptoms such as headaches.
  6. The best foods to eat a person with High Blood pressure are unsalted rice cakes, nuts mixed with raisins, graham crackers, fat-free and low-fat yogurt and frozen yogurt, popcorn with no salt or butter added, raw vegetables etc. these foods can help a lot to reduce the blood pressure.
  7. Garlic is an ingredient which many of us use in cooking everyday without giving its health benefits much thought. It is however extremely successful to reduce blood pressure. It works by reducing the risk of developing atherosclerosis there by reducing the risk of strokes and heart attacks. It also helps the blood to maintain the correct viscosity and keeps the circulatory system healthy.
  8. High blood pressure is widely attributed to increased stress and anxiety levels which many of us are placed under in our daily lives. An herb called Valerian is a proven remedy which can help in cases of this nature. Valerian calms the nerves and there by helps to reduce the heart rate and quells the feeling of anxiousness. All this put together helps reduce blood pressure. Available in many forms this remedy can be taken as a tea or the more conventional capsule.

Top 10 Job Interview Tips

Top 10 Job Interview Tips

  • Be punctual for a job interview. An employer knows that if you can’t show up on time for a job interview, you can’t do it for work either.
  • Prepare in advance even if you think you don’t require any preparation. The preparation you did for previous job interviews can’t be an excuse for not preparing for the one you are about to attend today.
  • Avoid too much amusement on the day before the interview. Amusing moments are essential for a healthy living but it can distract you for a week by pulling your thoughts back to the memories of that day.
  • Keep the clothes ready the day before. You don’t want to waste your time in the morning of the interview day, in search of the perfect outfit.
  • Choose the clothes which fit the job that you are applying for.Make sure they don’t look too formal, unless your job is going to be in the fashion industry.
  • Go through the sample interview questions and answers that you can find online, not for parroting those answers but to get an idea of how the good and acceptable answers sound.
Top10 job interview tips
  • Have your friend conduct mock interviews with you, especially if you are attending your first interview. (Don’t choose the one who always cracks jokes, if you don’t want to embarrass yourself by laughing out loud for your  interviewer’s question.)
  • Stay away from social networking sites like Facebook, orkut and MySpace once you start your interview preparation, unless the position you are applying for is social media consultant. Social media is powerful for doing job search but it can cause some serious addiction and keep you awake until midnight. (No problem if you let you Farmville crops wither for a couple of days)
  • On the interview day and the day before, eat something that digests easily and doesn’t make you feel sleepy. The food that you take affects your thought process, your posture and how you feel overall.
  • The most important thing to read before the interview is your own resume. If the interviewer asks about your career goals, you don’t want it to sound  completely different from the objectives you wrote in your resume. Read your resume a few times, think about the possible questions that the interviewer might ask based on your resume and be ready to answer them.

Why to Use PPC Advertising

There are many techniques that are applied to increase the traffic and ranking of a website. If you are running a website want to get more visitors on your website then you can use an SEO technique called PPC campaign management. PPC refers to Pay per Click advertising — Google Ad Words and Yahoo! search marketing, among other firms — both use this model as part of their offerings.
Pay per click or PPC, is one of the marketing tool that can drive lots of traffic to your website along with an increase in sales. Some marketers shy away from PPC because they do not understand it, or mistakenly think the cost is prohibitive. However, PPC only costs the advertiser when a potential buyer clicks on the ads for keywords or keyword phrases they’ve chosen.
The following are the reasons for using PPC campaign marketing:
1. PPC gives you great control over your campaigns. Starting, modifying, or stopping a campaign can be done in just a few clicks and a few minutes. Changes can be made day or night, effective right away, and there are no contracts.
2. PPC is easy to track, and you get real-time stats that show you how your ads are doing, what your click-through rate is, and where your advertising dollars are being used.
3. PPC can help you find buyers. PPC targets active consumers when done right in all phases of the buying cycle. You can target PPC advertising to certain geographic areas, cities, or regions and only advertise to users searching for your specific keywords.
4. With PPC you can change your daily budget at any time great control over your cost. You can run online promotions on an ad hoc basis online with a fixed budget.
5. PPC can measure your ad performance down to the single click and monitor that users behavior during their entire stay on your website. PPC provides a rock-solid ROI (return on investment) measurement.
6. With PPC advertising you can determine a lot of information about your clients by setting up analytics on your site — incoming locations, how long a user stays on a page, etc…
7. With a PPC program, you can test run advertising copy much more inexpensively than running traditional advertising.
8. PPC can help you find exactly what keywords people use to find your product or service, and which of them actually buy.
9. With PPC you can monitor your performance. PPC and Ad words lets you control your spend, set a budget, set the regions you wish to market in, set the maximum price you’ll pay for a click, pay only for clicks you receive, count the number of conversions. You can see your return on investment. If it’s not working then you can stop it.
10. You can link your Google Analytics with your Google Ad words PPC account and track your keywords to see which ones provide leads and sales and which ones don’t.

Sony Xperia Z 5-inch Android superphone official, we go hands-on

CES 2013: It's got to be big

Sony Xperia Z 5-inch Android superphone official, we go hands-on. Phones, Sony, Sony Mobile, Sony Xperia Z, CES2013, Android 0
8 January 2013 1:00 GMT / By Stuart Miles
Sony Mobile has announced the launch of its new flagship smartphone for 2013, the Sony Xperia Z.
The new phone, a mammoth 7.9mm thick, 5-inch beast, has previously gone under the guise of the Sony Yuga and enjoyed the usual array of leaks ahead of its unveiling at CES, where Sony has finally made the phone official.
Called the Xperia Z - because, according to Sony, everything before has been a build-up to this moment - the new smartphone will go on sale in the UK in the coming weeks, with mobile phone operators including Vodafone all keen to stock it in white, black and purple.
The phone itself, which Pocket-lint has already had a chance to play with, measures 139 x 71 x 7.9mm and weighs 146 grams, and comes with a Full HD 1080p Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 that builds on the technology found in the company's 2012 range of phones.
That screen, which is as stunning as it looks in our hands-on pictures, is the main focus of the design, with the casing emphasising Sony's "OmniBalance" approach that means it looks the same from all angles.
That means the front is void of all buttons and fixtures aside from a front-facing camera and the Sony logo. It's the same for the back - and, for the most part, the sides - with Sony opting to cover all the ports to create not only an almost seamless design, but also one that is waterproof. Yep drop it in the swimming pool, or more likely the toilet, and it'll be fine.
There is one feature that breaks away from the smooth lines, and that's the rather large aluminium power button on the right. It's an interesting choice, but one that feels well-made and comfortable to use. It's the phone's worry button and many will welcome that.
Of course that 5-inch 1080p 443ppi display (a lot more than most phones on the market) is big - like, really big as our hands-on pictures show - and like the Samsung Galaxy Note II makes phones like the iPhone 5 and even the Samsung Galaxy S III look tiny by comparison.
Surprisingly it's not quite as big as we were expecting, with the screen real-estate smaller than the SGN2 and the casing (just 7.9mm thick) keeping the size to a minimum as much as possible. Interestingly the Sony Xperia XL, also announced at CES 2013, comes with the same display in a smaller non-waterproof housing, but Sony has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it won't be coming to the UK.
But it's not just a big screen. There is power behind the Xperia Z too in the guise of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor - the 1.5GHz asynchronous quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB RAM - a 13-megapixel fast-capture camera, 4G LTE, NFC, and a 2400mAh battery which, with additional help from a new software feature from Sony, should give you more than nine days of battery life. We're thinking standby, not active use here.
In our play with the new phone it is certainly zippy, happily coping with anything that was asked of it. Video plays beautifully with the big, bright screen really shining - we watched a little bit of Skyfall of course (it is a Sony picture, after all).
Where Sony is hoping to succeed - and for the most part appears to from what we garnered in our play - is in finally utilising all the experience from the other divisions in the company.
The screen quality comes courtesy of the TV division, with every trick learnt with the latest Bravia range employed here. The air gap to reduce reflection when you are out and about has been borrowed from the company's TV range, as has the processing engine behind the graphics and colour reproduction. There is even technology in the phone that tries to enhance your footage to make it better in the same way televisions do. And it shows. The picture quality of the Xperia Z is very, very good.
It's the same when you get to the camera. Again Sony Mobile has turned to the Cyber-shot team at Sony to help create what looks to be a great camera. We weren't able to take away any shots for further analysis, but our play of the camera on the phone in our demo tells us there is plenty to like. As before, the interface is clean and easy to use with the option to customise shortcuts on the camera screen for your favourite features.
Sony has opted for an Exmor RS for mobile, the world's first image sensor with HDR (High Dynamic Range) video for smartphones, alongside the usual array of burst modes (10 pictures at 9 megapixels) and scene modes to help you get more out of the camera.
There are 30 scenes to choose from, although for the most part you'll probably just want to opt for the new Superior Auto mode that automatically picks the right scene for the job. Whizzing it around quickly in our demo the camera did well keeping up between portrait, macro and landscape modes.
Even the Walkman and PlayStation get a look in with dedicated music player and PlayStation-certified stores and games waiting to be played.
"The Walkman application provides access to all your downloaded music, a library of 18 million songs to explore from Music Unlimited and Facebook social integration," Sony tells us. "The Movies application gives consumers access to over 100,000 movies and TV series from Video Unlimited while the Album application enables easy access to Facebook friends’ photos as well as browsing photos by location."
There's the usual array of boring acronyms included too. A 3.5mm headphone jack (concealed), DLNA, aGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, GLONASS, HDMI support, microSD card slot up to 32GB. There is up to 16GB of memory and the battery isn't replaceable.
Add in NFC that plays nice with the newly-announced NFC-ready Bravia televisions at CES (users will simply touch Xperia Z to the remote control of the TV to instantly enjoy photos and videos on the big screen), LTE for all networks including the yet to be released Vodafone and O2 4G, and it's looking good.
All that tech requires a big battery, in this case a 2400mAh offering and the addition of a Sony unique feature called Stamina Mode.
Battery Stamina Mode works automatically to shut down battery-draining apps whenever the screen is off and start them up again when the screen is back on.
If it works as Sony say it does - and there's no reason not to believe it - it's going to be a must-have feature and one all phone users will want. You can customise individual apps to be controlled by the battery-saving feature, which will make life easy.
It means that if email is important to you, but Twitter isn't, you can have one work as normal, while the other doesn't drain the battery in the background. Clever.
What's the catch? It is probably that for many the phone will be just too damn big. It's not heavy, which has a lot going for it, and it is smaller than the SGN2, but we don't suspect many women will be champing at the bit to get one in their handbag.
The Xperia Z we played with came with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean installed with the normal Xperia UI, but Sony has confirmed that the Xperia Z will be upgraded to 4.2 shortly after launch.

Keyword Placement

1.Keywords in URL :
Keywords in URLs help a lot in getting better position in search engine result pages.
Eg:-http://www.srihithatechnologies.com/webdesign.html
Where “webdesigning’” is the keyword phrase where we attempt to rank well. But if we don’t have the keywords in other parts of the document, we don’t need to rely on having them in the URL.
Keyword PlacementThe domain name and whole URL plays an important role IN SEO process. The presumption is that if our web site is about cows, you will have “cows”, “cow”, or “calf” as part of our domain name. For instance, if our web site is mainly about cow milk , it is much better to name your cow site “cow-milk.net” than “animal-milk.org”,
Because in the first case we  have two major keywords in the URL, while in the second one we have no more than one potential minor keyword. Don’t be greedy when hunting for keyword rich domain names. From search engine optimization point of view it is better to have 5 keywords in the URL. But if we imagine the URL by using 5 potential keywords it will be long and difficult to memorize. So we need to balance keywords in the URL and the site usability. So it is advisable to use less than or equal to 3 keywords in the URL.
Directory names and file names are also important. Often search engines will give preference to pages that have a keyword in the file name.
For instance http://ourdomain.com/interview-tips.html is not as good as http://tipsoninterview.com/interview-tips.html but is certainly better than http://ourdomain.com/interview-guidence.html. The advantage of using keywords in file names over keywords in URLs is that they are easier to change, if you decide to move to another niche.
2.Keywords in anchor text :
If you have keyword in the anchor text in a link from another web site, this is regarded as getting a vote not only from this web site but also from your site in general but about the keyword in particular. So it is good to have anchor text for inbound links.
3.Keywords in headings (<H1>, <H2>, etc tags) :
Keyword in header tags counts a lot. But before placing ensure that the web page has actual text about the particular keyword. From literacy point of view headings separate paragraphs into related subtopics. From seo point of view it is good to have as many headings on a page as possible even though   it may be pointless to have a heading after every paragraph, Especially if we have keywords in the headings.
Even though there is no technical length limits for the contents of <h1>, <h2>, <h3>,…. <h5> tags.
We need to be wise with the length of headings; too long headings are bad for page readability. Another issue we need to consider is how the heading will be displayed. Heading 1 (<h1>),  means larger font size  in this case it is recommendable to have less than 7-8 words in the heading, otherwise it might spread on 2 or 3 lines, which is not good.
4.Keywords in <ALT> TAGS :
Search engine Spiders don’t read images but they  read the  textual descriptions in the <alt> tags, so if you have images on your page, fill in the <alt> tag with some keywords about them.
5.Synonyms :
Synonyms are not taken into account when calculating rankings and relevancy in languages other than English. Optimizing for synonyms of the target keywords, in addition to the main keywords is good for those sites developed in English, for which search engines are smart enough to use synonyms as well when ranking sites.
Examples for Synonyms
(Christmas and Xmas) (Diwali and Dipawali)
6.Keyword Mistypes :
When searching for information using a particular keyword Spelling errors are very frequent and if you know that your target keywords have popular misspellings or alternative spellings. Targeting these misspelled keywords might get you some more traffic but having spelling mistakes on your website does not make a good impression, So it is better not to use these misspelled keywords in the content, but we can use them or try misspelled keywords in meta tags.
7.Secondary keyword :
Optimizing for secondary keywords can be a golden mine because when everybody else is optimizing for the most popular keywords, there will be less competition (and probably more hits) for pages that are optimized for the minor words. For instance, “web designing in Hyderabad” might have thousand times less hits than “web designing” but if you are operating in Hyderabad, you will get less but considerably better targeted traffic.
8.Keyword stemming :
In English we have words that stem from the same root.
Example :- ( dog, dogs, doggy)
(KISS, KISSES, KISSING)
(JOKE, JOKES, JOKEY, JOKER)
If you have” JOKE” on your page, you will get hits for “JOKES” and “JOKER” as well, but for other languages keywords stemming could be an issue because different words that stem from the same root are considered as not related and you might need to optimize for all of them.
9.Keyword Dilution :
When webpage is optimized with an excessive amount of keywords, especially unrelated ones, this will affect the performance of all the keywords and even the major keywords will be lost or diluted in the text. So don’t target more keywords in one single web pag.
10.Keyword phrases :
Keyword phrases consisting of several words can be optimized in addition to keywords, e.g. “Keyword Analysis”. It is best when the keyword phrases you optimize are popular ones, so you can get a lot of exact matches of the search string but sometimes it makes sense to optimize for 2 or 3 separate keywords (“keyword” and “analysis”) than for one phrase that might occasionally get an exact match.

Keywords Terminology

Keywords Levels are totally 3types
1. Low level keywords:
If the keyword competition (in Google) is <= 4 digits then it is considered as low level keyword. For low-level keyword we can optimize a website with in 3 months.
2.Medium level keywords :
If the keyword competition (in Google) is <= 7 digits it is considered as medium level keyword, For medium -level key words we can optimize our site with in 6 to 7 months.
Keywords Terminology3.High level keywords :
if keyword competition is above or equal to 8 digits it is considered as  high level keyword  .we can optimize  these high level keyword  in 1year.
Keyword Density
Keyword density refers to the ratio or percentage of keywords contained within the total number of index able words within a web page. It is important for your main keywords to have the correct keyword density to rank well in Search Engines. Keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. The recommended keyword density ratio is 2 to 8 percent. Keywords quality is very important more than keyword quantity because if we have keywords in the page title, the headings, and in the first paragraphs this count more.  The reason is that the URL (and especially the domain name), file names and directory names, the web page title, the headings for the separate sections are more important than ordinary text on the web page . We may have same keyword density as our competitor’s web site but if we have keywords in the URL, this will boost our website ranking incredibly, especially with Yahoo search.
Keyword Frequency:
Keyword frequency means the number of times a keyword phrase or keyword appears with in a web page. The more times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page, the more relevance a search engines are likely to give the page for a search with those keywords or key phrase.
Keyword Prominence:
Keyword prominence refers to how prominent keywords are within a web page. It is recommendation to place important keywords at the start or near of a web page, starting of a sentence, TITLE or META tag.
Keyword Proximity:
Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between two or more keywords. It is better to have keywords placed  closer in a sentence.
Keyword proximity examples:
Example 1: How Keyword Density Affects Search Engine Rankings.
Example 2: How Keyword Density Affects Rankings In Search Engine.
In above example, if someone searched for “search engine rankings,” a web page containing the first sentence is more likely to rank higher than the second.
The reason is because the keywords are placed closer together.

How do search engines work

All search engines consist of three main parts:
  • The Spider (or worm)
  • The Index
  • The Search Algorithm
The spider (or worm), continuously ‘crawls’ web space, following links that leads either to different website or with in the limits of the website. The spider ‘reads’ all pages content and passes the data to the index.
How do search engines workThe index is the next step of search engine after crawling. Index is a storage area for spidered web pages and is of a huge magnitude. Google index is said to consist of more than three billion pages.
For example Google’s index, is said to consist of more than three billion pages.
Search algorithm is more sophisticated and third step of a search engine system. Search algorithm is very complicated mechanism that sorts an immense database within a few seconds and produces the results list. The most relevant the search engine sees the web page the nearer the top of the list. So site owners or webmasters should therefore see site’s relevancy to keywords.
Algorithm is unique for each and every search engine, and is a trade secret, kept hidden from the public.
Most of the modern web search combines the two systems to produce their results

White Hat Seo Black Hat Seo

White Hat SEO :
There are ethical and unethical practices in search engine optimization, Ethical practices are called as white hat seo. The opposite of bat hat seo is called as white hat seo. White hat seo includes some of these activities like arranging content in a clear hierarchy so that important  words and phrases are used as required .
Getting page views at any cost to your website is not a good tactic. It never works in the long run, even if it may work for a short while. Beware of any SEO company that recommends you employ any of these techniques.
Black Hat SEO:
Black Hat SEO includes things like keyword stuffing. The terminology “Black Hat” in Black Hat SEO comes from the old cowboy western movies where all the bad guys wore black hats and all the good guys wore white hats. Cloaking is another black hat seo technique, Google will penalize sites that flagrantly buy and sell links. If you are buying or selling links: do it covertly & do it under the radar. Buying and selling links without the no follow tag is now officially a black hat SEO practice that is against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
Black hat SEO techniques usually include following characteristics:
  • breaking search engine rules and
    regulations
  • Unethically presenting content in a different visual or non-visual way to search engine spiders and search engine users.
Black hat SEO practices will actually provide short-term gains in terms of rankings, but if we are discovered utilizing these spammy Techniques on a Web site, we run the risk of being penalized by search engines.
